Why families come here

Premuda is nine kilometres long. It has one village, two small supermarkets, two restaurants and a few dozen people who live here all year. There are almost no cars, so the children can walk down to the beach on their own.

The larger of the two beaches sits beside the church: an easy walk into the water, room to spread out, and you can see the bottom. To go further, take a boat or one of the scooters. This site is both a guide to the island and a description of the house you can rent.

What there is to do

Find the bunkers

Behind the village a narrow path leads into the scrub and ends at old bunkers from the Yugoslav era. Walkable from the house, wear proper shoes, and for children it is the best hiding place on the island.

A battleship off the coast

The Szent István sank off Premuda in 1918. The wreck lies at around 68 metres, and the old radar station still stands up on the heights.

Going swimming

Two beaches down by the harbour, the larger one beside the church with an easy walk into the water. Everything else you reach by boat: Dobra, Kalpić and the rocks of Masarine.

The whole house is yours

Around 180 m², up to 25 beds, two kitchens and a terrace to sit out on in the evening. The house is only ever let to one group at a time.

The House

Downstairs: living room, kitchen and two sleeping areas. Upstairs in the converted attic: two large dormitories. Air conditioning, a washing machine, bed linen and towels are all there. Outside there is a second kitchen with its own fridge and a terrace of about 60 m². Families, friends, clubs, school trips: the house is let as a whole, to one group. (Floor areas are indicative.)
